Diagnostic Clinical Support System VisualDx and Osmosis Partner

Leading MedEd Organizations Team Up to Advance Virtual Learning Opportunities for Medical Students, Clinicians

VisualDx, an award-winning web-based clinical decision support system, has partnered with Osmosis.org, a leading health education platform, to increase medical and health professional, as well as student and faculty, access to both organizations’ leading content libraries. Through this collaboration, VisualDx and Osmosis will integrate their platforms to bolster the educational resources they provide to medical schools nationwide.

VisualDx is an application used in medical schools and health professional programs across the globe to teach clinical reasoning and differential diagnosis. Its unmatched atlas of dark skin images, plus its image collection of disease presentations in people of all skin colors, are key for filling knowledge gaps and driving greater health equity in medical training.

“As pioneers in the medical education space, we are always working to advance learning opportunities and support students on their med school journeys,” said Art Papier, M.D., CEO of VisualDx. “We are excited to combine forces with Osmosis and further expand the breadth and depth of learning opportunities available to the next generation of clinicians.”

Osmosis offers a robust library of more than 2,000 online videos and corresponding notes and assessment items to enable people to enter and excel in the healthcare workforce.

“VisualDx is an industry leader and pioneer in health education as well as diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts,” said Rishi Desai, M.D. M.P.H, Chief Medical Officer of Osmosis. “We are proud to deepen our partnership with them, and grateful to the Coverys Strategic Healthcare Alliance for bringing our organizations together.”
