SendBlocks, a pioneering startup in blockchain data management, announced today that it is coming out of stealth mode with $8.2 million in seed funding.

SendBlocks makes accessing blockchain data simple. The SendBlocks platform is fully customizable allowing blockchain enterprises, ecosystems, protocols and applications to define the data that matters to them, and leave it to SendBlocks to sift through the blockchain to find their nuggets.

As high throughput blockchains emerge, many new use cases for blockchain-based applications are becoming evident thanks to better usability and cheaper transaction cost. “At the end of the day we want to create a reality in which any developer can access any blockchain data they desire, without needing an entire data team or spending thousands of dollars per data need to do so,” shares Itay Shrem, Co-founder & CEO.

Existing clients (that can be disclosed) include Bancor and SphereX who have already benefited from SendBlocks’ innovative solution, experiencing streamlined operations and cost savings. With more and more high throughput blockchains emerging, SendBlocks is positioning itself to become the leading data management platform.

“We believe that starting out in web3 shouldn’t necessitate an extensive data team and that infrastructure costs should align with the application’s user base rather than the blockchain’s throughput,” says Michael Kellner, Co-founder & CTO. “Merely scaling the blockchain isn’t sufficient; the entire stack must be scalable to support the next generation of applications,” he adds.

SendBlocks’ innovative approach addresses these challenges head-on. Shrem and Kellner, having spent over a decade each in Talpiot are now leveraging their experience in building secure and resilient infrastructures.

SendBlocks aims to significantly reduce backend and indexing efforts for blockchain developers while maintaining flexibility and robustness by consolidating the conventional indexer/RPC process into a single, user-friendly platform.

Some simple use cases of the SendBlocks platform have already been a game changer for clients, such as flexible historical data access and fully personalized notifications. By providing customers access to anything happening on-chain, SendBlocks helps developers save billions of API queries, resulting in leaner data teams, regardless of the underlying blockchain.

Strategic collaboration lays groundwork for building Argus’ best-of-breed, end-to-end Vehicle Security Platform to secure automotive fleets throughout the vehicle lifecycle

Argus Cyber Security, a world leader in automotive cyber security, today announced that it is collaborating with Microsoft to build a next generation, end-to-end platform for automotive and mobility security. This Argus Vehicle Security Platform consists of two integrated solutions that combine Argus’ automotive cybersecurity portfolio with robust software development and security products from Microsoft, one of the world’s most innovative technology companies and a leader in GenAI.

In recent years, vehicle manufacturers have come to realize the importance of Software Defined Vehicles (SDV) and integrating security measures early in the development process. This “shift left” security approach enables automotive software developers to improve the overall quality and security of their products, while at the same time accelerating time-to-market and reducing development costs.

The next-generation Argus Vehicle Security Platform embraces “shift left” principles to help OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers address the complex challenges in developing and securing connected software-defined vehicles (SDVs), as well as ensuring data management, and compliance. It comprises two integrated solutions built to help automakers secure the future of mobility: Automotive Shift-Left Security and Automotive Security Lifecycle Management.

“Microsoft’s vision, together with Argus’ automotive cybersecurity expertise and product offerings, will help expedite the transformation of the automotive software development cycle,” said Ran Ish-Shalom, VP Products and Strategy at Argus. “This collaboration focuses on building new, cutting-edge security and development platforms to meet the evolving security, data management and compliance requirements of automakers in the years to come.”

“By combining Argus Cyber Security’s expertise in securing connected vehicles with Microsoft’s Azure AI capabilities, new software development methodologies and tool chains, and broad portfolio of cybersecurity products, we have a unique opportunity to accelerate ‘shift left’ security innovations across the entire automotive sector,” said Dominik Wee, Corporate Vice President for Manufacturing and Mobility at Microsoft. “This collaboration will result in new AI-powered cybersecurity tools that benefit both drivers and carmakers.”

The “Automotive Shift-Left Security” solution enhances the newly launched Argus DevSecOps platform for automotive software development on Microsoft Azure through the integration of advanced software development tools from Microsoft, including the Microsoft Threat Modeling Tool, and Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service. This solution uses Azure OpenAI Service to bring the power of generative AI to automotive applications for DevSecOps, with the scale and security of Azure. Moreover, the platform’s open design allows it to integrate easily with other tools, as needed, to secure vehicles over their lifetime.

The second solution, known as “Automotive Security Lifecycle Management,” integrates the Argus XDR threat detection and response product for automotive on Azure with robust security operations and management tools from Microsoft, including Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Defender Threat Intelligence and Azure OpenAI Service. The integrated solution provides automakers with comprehensive security management across all three phases of the vehicle lifecycle.

New collaboration streamlines verification of logged-in users, enabling more individualized consumer engagements from health systems

Praia Health, a consumer platform for delivering individualized health solutions at scale, announced today a new partnership with CLEAR, the secure identity company, to enhance identity verification processes for health systems.

The partnership represents a significant step forward in enabling organizations to engage with patients, demonstrating the immense potential for collaboration to break down technological barriers. The collaboration streamlines the verification of the identity of users who are logged into a health system’s website or mobile app and makes it possible for the consumer to receive more individualized communication outside of their clinical and non-clinical encounters.

“We are excited to join forces with CLEAR to introduce a new standard of identity verification in healthcare,” said Justin Dearborn, CEO of Praia Health. “Integrating CLEAR’s advanced biometric authentication capabilities into our platform streamlines the process of establishing consumer identity outside of clinical records, which enables health systems to deliver a new level of secure, individualized experiences at scale.”

Praia Health will offer CLEAR’s identity verification technology integrated into the Praia Health platform in a seamless experience. Customers using Praia’s platform will have the option to have their accounts verified through CLEAR’s technology, providing access to personalized health system programs and services. The Praia platform takes a health system’s services, programs, initiatives and resources and systematically delivers them to the right health consumers at the right time, based upon their unique best practices, protocols and preferences — dynamically adjusting the consumer experience based upon everything that is known. Additionally, users will be able to access Praia’s wealth of ecosystem partners — reducing the need for multiple logins, removing user friction and creating a personalized consumer experience through their healthcare journey.

“We are proud to partner with Praia Health to expand the power of our identity platform within the healthcare industry,” said Caryn Seidman Becker, CEO of CLEAR. “By combining our expertise in secure identity verification with Praia Health’s consumer platform and ecosystem of digital health partners, we will continue to revolutionize the way identity is authenticated in healthcare settings, ultimately improving patient care and security.”

Indianapolis-based Community Health Network will be the first health system to implement both technologies, continuing their track record of pioneering world-class innovations.

“CLEAR and Praia Health are a powerful combination,” said Patrick McGill, M.D., EVP and Chief Transformation Officer of Community Health Network. “Together, these two premier platforms enable us to deliver personalized health in new and exciting ways that are transforming the industry.”

The partnership with Praia Health is the latest milestone for CLEAR in healthcare this year. In June, InterSystems Health Gateway Service announced an integration with CLEAR Verified Identity technology to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of patient data management. In May, CLEAR and Wellstar Health System announced a partnership to offer a seamless and secure check-in experience for patients. In March, University of Miami Health System announced the results of a partnership with CLEAR. Also in March, CLEAR became one of only five companies to be NIST 800-63-3 aligned and “Full Service Accredited” by the Kantara Initiative, indicating that they deliver high levels of identity assurance.
